I tasked Steve at Norpoint Medical to develop me a rural deputy trauma care class combined with AED/CPR. The class was for a somewhat isolated county law enforcement agency where medic wait time was generally over 20 minutes or more depending on the area. Steve and his employees exceeded my expectations. His class was a huge hit with the crew, especially compared to the boring run of the mill classroom lecture style that everyone expects. They have impressive backgrounds in their fields, but even more than just knowing their stuff, they know how to present it in manner that’s effective and efficient. I just completed a CPR training taught by Steven Bentley of Norpoint Maritime Medical Training Centers. The combination of the video and his style of teaching made it interesting and effective. I particularly appreciated him sharing about his real-life experiences of saving people’s lives. He doesn’t just teach the program, he uses it in his everyday life on a volunteer and professional basis. I came away feeling that, if a situation arose where I needed to perform CPR, I could do so with confidence.
